my car has epilepsy! help!!!!

From time to time the dashboard on my car will act up.   It can be as minor
as the door ajar light coming on, or as major as ever light coming on, all
the dials maxing out then going to zero, and the odometer going blank.
This is often acompanied by the radio cutting out and the car jolting.   I
have taken it to 2 electical specialists who cannot seem to find a
problem.  Once, when driving slowly it caused the car to stall out.   This
has happened when I have been driving anywhere from 10 to 60 mph, with the
radio and without, during the day as well as at night, and in both wet and
dry conditions.  I cannot find a pattern to help pinpoint the issue.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?    thanks!

Kate

Oxygen sensors

I seem to have a problem with one of the oxygen sensors in my 2000
Focus.  A OBDII scan of the two sensors while driving home shows radically
different signals from the two.  (The engine does seem to run a bit rough,
come to think of it.)
The #1 sensor signal (red) is very rough, as if it has a loose wire
that is rattling with the engine vibration. Although I have never seen a
"good" signal,  the #2 sensor (blue) sure looks believable.
Does anyone have experience with oxygen sensors?

Balancing tires on a ZX3

I took my ZX3 into my local Goodyear tire shop thinking I had one tire out
of balance. I was getting a vibration at 100-110kph. It turns out that "all"
the tires were out of balance. How exactly does that happen?  BTW, vibration
is gone!

"Dog Gate" for wagon

I have a US Focus Wagon (2001 SE).  I’m looking for a "Dog Gate" for the
cargo area of my Wagon.  You know, one of those wire mesh thinks that keep
whatever’s in the cargo area back there. Now that I have a baby in a rear
facing car seat, I’m a little paranoid that what’s back there may not stay
there in an accident or quick stop.  The "Shade" that came with the car,
which wasn’t all that substantial to begin with, has busted.  I have done a
little searching online, but have not come up with what I’m looking for.
The best I have found are "universal" ones that span between the floor and
headliner.  I’d like something more like in my friend’s Subaru, where the
gate is supported on the plastic molding around the rear windows.  Can
anyone point me to something like this?

Thanks,
Joe
