I wanted to buy a focus 5-doors, but my dealer convinced me to buy a 4-doors
(1600 Zetec engine). Is there anyone who experienced driving a four door
focus ? I have ordered my focus in march. It will arrive in july and I am
convinced to have bought a great car. Am I right ?

Get the hell out wit Golf and Astra ….. The focus is driving better then
an BMW 3..

Get the five door hardly any room with the booted version. All the seats
drop in the hatch. I got 130 MPH out of mine today, damn ran out of road,
was looking good for 135 easy, down hill it would go right off the clock !
Like a train on rails and a bullet from a gun this is one very fast and
stable car.

Yes, you are right!
I got my Focus sedan 1.6 Ghia one week ago
and it is pure driving pleasure. The 1.6
Zetec SE delivers more than sufficient
power and should yield a more favourable
fuel-economy than the 2.0 engine.
I have driven approx. 1000 km. now and
I have no complaints whatsoever – apart
from other drivers behaving somewhat
odd to get a better look of the car, which
imho. is much better looking than the
3/5D hatchback version.
You really have something to look forward to!

Agreed, I like the Saloon Focus – I’m saving my pennies to buy one end
of this summer – replacement for my 1996 diesel Clio company car.
