I have a Focus 2.0 uk model, the windscreen seems to have many fine
scratches and some quite deep which are visible when the sun catches them.
Does any one know of a way of successfully removing them.

new focus
I just got a 2000 ford focus SE and I wanted to make it look a little
sportier. I also wanted to know if any one knows of any store that has
accessories for the focus? I have been looking for hyperwhite lights
for it and can’t find any.I live in montreal and would love to know a
name of a place where I can get stuff for my car.
Focus Wagon door sill protectors?
Does anyone know of a source for some sort of door sill protectors for
my 2001 Focus Wagon?
Thanks,
Focus wagon any good?
Anyone got a Focus Wagon…is it a good car and what is a good price/deal on
a new wagon? I got an old Camry wagon with over 200,000
on it, but got to eventually replace it…the Focus seems like a good deal
for the price.
Busted Gearstick Spring Loading
Hi
The spring loading on my UK Focus gearbox has gone on the left hand side.
Took the trim off around the gear stick, but it’s full of rods and levers,
not like the old days. Anyone had a similar experience, is it easily fixed?

Door Paint
the inside of the passenger door on my new focus was not even painted. The
dealer had to repaint it.
Crash about to happen
Seeking information on similar problems with the 2000 Ford Focus. My
car is accelerating on it’s own when trying to stop. The car will stop
then unexpectedly accelerate up to 7000 RPM. I have to put the car
into neutral and turn off and wait to get it to stop. Sometimes the
engine is still revving at 7000 when I turn the car back on. The car
has been taken to the dealer and the recall/servo speed control has
been replaced. I was told that would correct the problem, but it
accelerated again several times after that. The dealership and Ford
Motor claims no information is available on this problem and have not
been able to duplicate or fix it. I’ve been told it could be driver
error, I may be hitting the accelerator accidentally. I’m making no
progress with this after one year. Any information would be helpful.
By the way, I have found similar reports of this on the NHTSA website.

Focus gearbox problem Ford needs to act.
I posted on this newsgroup a couple of weeks ago about a problem on a Y
plate UK spec 1.6 zetec Focus that I have covered about 500 miles in.To
recap it consists of a very high pitched whine that can be heard in 5th
mainly at 70mph and seems to get higher pitched as you gather more speed it
can only be described as a similar noise as to when you suffer from
Tinitis. My main dealer at first thought it was wind noise but the fact that
it goes when you come of the throttle and starts as soon as you accelerate
again killed off that idea.Well today I picked the car up after some other
probs were looked at and it appears that there is another Focus with the
same problem and this model has had two new gearboxes only for the fault to
reapear again. It seems that the 1.4,1.6 and 1.8 all have the same gearbox so
my reason for this post is to A.Can anybody shed some light as to what the
possible cause of this pain the backside whine is and B.Does anybody else
have this problem on a very late model as I am sure it must be affecting
others. Thanks for any response to this post.
Side and front repeaters
Anybody know where I might find some ‘smoked’ front and side repeaters
lights in the UK?
