On My 2001 Focus ZTS if I put the air on it takes long time before it gets
cold like after driving 30 min. Is this normal? or needs R134 or is this a
common problem with this cars. vehicle now has 59,500 miles on it  any help
on this?

i cant seem to remove the cylinder and need professional help…

I’m currently looking to buy a second hand new shape Focus.

I believe there are two different 1.6 petrol engines fitted to this model in
the UK, a 100 BHP one and a 115 BHP one dubbed the TI-VCT.

Trouble is, a lot of non-Ford dealers I visited at the weekend are totally
oblivious to the fact that there are two different engines, and don’t mark
their cars as being 100 or 115.

I’m keen to ensure I buy a 115 and not a 100. Is there an easy way of
telling by looking at the engine that it is a 115?

I have just got my first focus, 1.8 Ghia 2004 54 plate

the owners manual say don’t push the button in when you raise
the hand- break.

Why?

I hate the sound of the ratchet and would rather not wear the ratchet
out.

Does anyone know of a sensible reason why I should not continue to push
the button in when I apply the hand-break?

First time I had to change the headlight on my 2000 focus, and damn, i
cant "slide" that wire. Even bloodblistered my thumb trying to change
it, that wire doesnt budge.

Damn it.

I just bought a brand new ’06 Focus ZX3 with S trim level.  I noticed today
(bought the car Saturday) that the speakers have a lot of distortion when I
raise the bass level past about half way even at only moderate volume.  It
sounds like I have blown speakers, but I’m not sure since the car is brand
new.  My question is, did I get a car with a bad set of speakers or is it
just that bad of a stereo?  Thanks for any help.

Started having a rear brake squeel when coming to stops at around 34,000
miles.  It is now 43,000 miles and it has been in the Ford dealership 3
times. Shoes & Pads have all been replaced with some special TSB
replacement type. Last time even put some type of special magnets to the
rear brakes. The dealer said it would probably come back and it did. It is
sooooo annoying. Any advice how to fix it?  

How and what is needed to remove the console for the stereo and ac controls.

Mine came with a cassette player and have a OEM cd player to install.

I notice the bottom has clips that probably removed and are loose so the
bottom pull out some.
Is it just clips that hold the console cover plate on?

does anyone have any information on how to re-set the clock on the
focus it’s been off evey since the last daylight savings adjustment and
it’s starting to be very irritating… maybe someone has an web address
for an online owners manual any help is appreciated.
