Accessing inside of rear panels?

Is there any way of easily getting to the inside of the rear panels
on a 3 door 03 Focus? I managed to dent it just in front of the
wheel, its not bad and looks like it could just push back out if
I could get to the inside of it. I have tried a dent puller to do it
from the outside, but the dent is too small.

Race and rally cars use flat alloy plates on the pedals for better control
(they bolt through two holes drilled in the face of the pedal). Would using
a set of these give you a flat surface you could then fit your pedal
extensions to?

Focus C-MAX 2,0 TDCI

I ordered a Focus C-Max 2,0 TdCi Ghia for 2 weeks a go (12 week delivery).

I would like yo hear other C-max owners and their experiences with that kind
of family car, especially the models with the 2,0 diesel engine. ?.

Busted horn

When I hit the horn on my Focus all I hear is a clicking sound coming from
the vicinity of the glove box. Is the horn itself blown or is it just a
blown fuse/relay? Anyone have any ideas? Is it a DIY fix or something best
left to someone who knows what they are doing?

Blown Speaker

Well finally my pioneer mp3 player has annialated the speakers in my
focus.

My darling 2 year old goddaughter managed to find the remote in the
door pocket and switch to full blast, just as a rather heavy drum and
bass tune came on the cd, needless to say the basic cones could not
handle a 60 watt amp at full power.

Basically i have figured that the best thing to do would be replace
the speakers with something better than the ford standards (not that i
have a major problem with them, they are not to bad for oem stuff),
does anyone have any reccomendations as to a decent set of speakers,
and ideally a stockist, being on the web or in the manchester area?

Alterativley does anyone know the dimensions of the speakers, are they
a custom job or would i be fine with ‘off the shelf’ ones?

BTW it is a UK Focus X (2000) reg 4 door hatch, i think it only has
four speakers in but i have not really had a lot of time to look.

Cheers in advance

Ford Focus zx3 has not been run for almost three years!

Mother-in-law is giving me Ford Focus Zx3, year: 2000.

Has been garaged for almost three years, less than 500 miles on it.

It has not been driven.

What precautions should I observe before adding gas and starting car for the
first time?

Leak into Footwell Update

Hi all

As posted earlier about this problem thought I would now update you
further.

Got the car back yesterday afternoon. All appeared OK – footwell dry
ect…

Rained throughout most of last night – went to car this morning and
guess what – water around seal and in footwell – **** I say.

Well off back to garage this morning and they promised if they could not
fix it then they would refund or exchange car – well we will see what
happens and I will update you later.

    Regards

    Nick
